Hi, I'm David Johnson. I thrive on partnering with individuals and businesses to design and develop practical and effective solutions to problems. With 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a hands-on approach to every project.

My journey began as a toolmaker, where I honed my skills and pursued further education in Mechanical Engineering. My career advanced as I joined the design teams at PDL and Fisher & Paykel, specialising in CAD and CAM software for designing injection moulding tools and programming CNC machines for their production.

My passion for computing led me to obtain a BSc majoring in computer science at Canterbury University, where I gained advanced skills in software development. Since then, I've specialised in creating custom software systems designed to streamline business operations. From managing student records and architectural projects to automating routine maintenance programs, my solutions make businesses run smoothly and efficiently.

Over seven years at an industrial design consultancy, I was involved in bringing product and software ideas to life, from initial concepts to manufacturing and market launch. I worked with solo inventors, small businesses and large manufacturing companies alike, always focusing on delivering innovative and reliable solutions.
